What do I need to do to reserve exhibit space?
What happens if my booth selections are not available?
CHBA-Central Alberta staff will call you to give you alternative choices. Or call them to confirm your choices before submiting your Application.
When is my balance due?
Normally the balance is due within 30 days of the invoice date unless it is close to the Show dates, in which case the balance is due immediately.
Is there an "Official" Home Show Hotel?
Yes. Please visit the
Hotel Information section of the site to see our "Official Hotel's" amenities and benefits for Exhibitors.
How many free exhibitors' badges do I get?
Each exhibitor is given 4 FREE Exhibitor Badges and availability to purchase "VIP Passes" to distribute to guests. Please visit the
Exhibitors Count section of the site to see more FREE stuff.
What happens if I need more than 4 Exhibitor Badges?
Exhibitors can buy additional badges for a small fee: regular adult admission with the bonus of FREE admission to the Exhibitors' Lounge and Appreciation Night. Exhibitors will be given a login and password which will allow you to go to into our web site "Store".
Where can I purchase "VIP Passes"?

What does occupying the Full Cubic Content of my space mean?
Every exhibitor has the right to occupy the complete cubic volume of the contracted exhibit space. Back and side wall drapery to a minimum 8 feet high is provided for you, however, you are responsible for insuring that any unfinished or unsightly walls of your neighbours booth is properly finished.

How do I get listed in the Official Show Guide?
Your company name will be listed as it appears on your Application for Exhibit Space and only in the Alphabetical Section of the Official Show Guide. Deadline for listing is February 1, 2007.
How do I get listed in the Online Show Guide?
Your company name will be listed as it appears on your Application for Exhibit Space under a maximum of eight (8) different product categories. Deadline for listing is February 1, 2007.
You will be given a login and password which will allow you to go to our web site to add or update your Official Exhibitor Listing(s).
What do I do with my login and password?
Go to
Login and enter your login and password. This will enable you to update your name listing(s) for the Official Show Guide, and access the Exhibitors' Lounge.
Are exhibitor badges mailed?
No. Exhibitor badges can be picked up at the Exhibitors' Registration Desk in the Show Management Office in the Prairie Pavilion of Westerner Park. The Show Management Office opens Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at 8:00 AM.
When will I get my Exhibitor Manual?
The Exhibitor Manual is available online to all fully paid exhibitors. Hard copies (print version) of the Exhibitor Manual will be available January 2007 to all fully paid exhibitors, but are not automatically mailed out. To request a hard copy, please contact Exhibitor Relations at (403) 346-5321 or toll-free 888-346-5329.
Can I set up my own booth?
As back and side wall drapery is provided, to set up your own booth, you will need to advise Show Management and name yourself as the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) for your company's booth and meet the necessary guidelines and insurance requirements. The Guildeines and insurance information can be found in the Exhibitor Manual.
Can I hang or attached booth equipment, signs, lighting, etc. from a Westerner Park Pavilion?
No. Hanging or attaching signs or any other booth equipment, materials or lighting from any part of a Westerner Park Pavilion is NO LONGER PERMITTED.
What equipment is required for my booth?
All exhibitors are required to have some form of floor covering. Carpet is available through the Exhibitor Manual. In addition, if you are in an in-line booth, you are responsible for covering any unfinished or unsightly walls of your neighbours or parts of a Westerner Park Pavilion up to eight (8) feet on your back and side walls.
Are children allowed to attend?
Yes, children under 18 years old must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times when in the exhibit areas. Registration for children is complimentary and must be done on-site. All children except infants in backpacks or slings must be registered and badged to be admitted to the exhibit areas. Strollers are not allowed in booth areas. Children under 18 years old are not permitted on the show floor during setup and teardown.
The 2007 Red Deer Home Show will feature a "Media Centre" in the Prairie Pavilion of Westerner Park. The Media Centre and Show Management Office open Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at 8:00 AM.
The Media Centre will assist our Exhibitors in producing Media Releases, displaying Media Kits, and coordinating Media Events.

Media Releases
Exhibitors at the 2007 Red Deer Home Show will be featured in a CHBA-Central Alberta media release that goes to more than 75 newspapers, magazines, and media outlets across the region. Make sure your product is included by providing CHBA-Central Alberta with a two sentence description of your newest and best product on display at the 2007 Red Deer Home Show. Please include information for the appropriate media contact.
Media Kits
Display your product kits and news releases in the CHBA-Central Alberta Media Centre in the Prairie Pavilion of Westerner Park. We suggest you provide 50 copies of your material and ship it for arrival between March 6-8, 2007. You may also drop off materials beginning at 8:00 am on Wednesday, March 7, 2007. You are responsible for packing and shipping any remaining materials at the end of the show. All materials not packed will be discarded. Ship materials to:

Media Events
Exhibitors at the 2007 Red Deer Home Show will be able to host Media Events (i.e., news briefings, product demos, etc.) in your booth on Friday, March 9; Saturday, March 10; or Sunday, March 11. CHBA-Central Alberta staff will be able to help you with event logistics and will develop a schedule of all media events to be posted in the Media Centre during the 2007 Red Deer Home Show.
Media Event Guidelines
- Your booth must be at least 200 sq. ft. to host a media event. It is the exhibitor‚„s responsibility to find out if your booth meets the media event guidelines. Aisles must be kept clear at all times.
- Media Events (i.e., news briefings, products demos, etc.), may be held in your booth between 9:00 and 11:30 am on Friday, March 9; 8:00 and 9:30 am Saturday, March 10; or 8:00 and 9:30 am Sunday, March 11.
- All media events must be approved by the 2007 Red Deer Home Show Committee before February 24, 2007. It is your responsibility to contact the appropriate catering service and to notify show security of your event. We will supply contact information for these offices upon approval of your request.
- You must escort invited guests from the show entrance to your booth for your scheduled media event.
- Your media event must be completed and all catering equipment, extra chairs, etc. removed from the exposition area at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled exhibit opening time.
