About the Office
The formal mandate of the Office is set out in the 2007-2008 Strategic Plan of the CHBA-Central Alberta. It consists of:
ensuring that CHBA housing policy reflects true Canadian values and advances CHBA's regional interests; strengthening evidence-based, community development arrangements and to expand fair market access at municipal and regional levels; and, working with a range of partners inside and outside government to achieve increased housing opportunities for Canadians at home and Newcomers to Canada within the region.
