The CHBA-Central Alberta Office of Regional Affairs is here to help municipal governments grow and succeed by promoting Central Alberta as a dynamic place to live, invest and do business, and by negotiating and promoting sustainable development.
 
New Office will assist citizens and governments of central Alberta
 
The formal mandate of the CHBA-Central Alberta Office of Regional Affairs is set out in the 2007-2008 Strategic Plan of the CHBA-CA.  It consists of:
  • ensuring that CHBA housing policy reflects true Canadian values and advances CHBA's regional interests;
  • strengthening evidence-based, community development arrangements and to expand fair market access at municipal and regional levels; and,
  • working with a range of partners inside and outside government to achieve increased housing opportunities for Canadians at home and Newcomers to Canada within the region.
 
 
 
 
The CHBA-CA has identified four "key" priorities for the
Office of Regional Affairs.

Industry Bulletins
Help from our Officers centrally located across the region will assist to find new housing and development solutions and implement your strategy.
 
Our Officers are senior business people with experience in many aspects of housing and development, and will at your service for "making connections", discussing policy, and any negotiations to create solutions for your municipality.
 
The Office of Regional Affairs will also provide Protocol Services for visiting elected officials and staff, and interested community members.

Citizens across the region will head to the polls to elect municipal officials for three year terms.
In every part of Central Alberta, CHBA-CA can establish agreements to provide access to members' goods and services, while supporting growth in developing areas of the region.
