Policy e Discussions
This site will host to an ongoing series of policy eDiscussions. The goal of these eDiscussions is to provide Central Albertans the opportunity for discussion and input into housing policy development.
- Central Alberta is the only Canadian Home Builders' Association chapter to seek our citizen's participation through eDiscussions in housing policy creation.
- eDiscussions are held twice per year - fall and spring.
- eDiscussion topics are selected and supported by policy makers working in relevant sectors of the housing industry seeking public opinion in their policy planning process.
- Each eDiscussion has a resource section profiling the Canadian Home Builders' Association's position on the issue being discussed. The resource section also includes video interviews with experts.
- Municipal officials and staff are invited to provide "policy Position Papers" as input into the discussion as well as content for the resource section.
- The Fall '07 eDiscussion is now concluded. Thank you for your interest and participation.
